Definitely deserves either a sequel, or a modern remaster and/or remake. Oh, and it lets you assign roles to playable characters not currently in your active party. Some of the translation definitely does not hold up to modern standards, but it was a early 2000's RPG, so I cut it some slack. I'm not going to spoil the story, but I enjoy it a great deal. The game is focused on a crew of air pirates set during a new Age of Exploration, and it's definitely an interesting setting. Of note, the Spirit Gauge is shared between all party members, which helps balance the action economy. The Spirit Gauge always gains a set number of points at the beginning of your turn, and these can then be used to either pay the SP cost of Spells (besides the one MP), or for Super Moves, which have no MP cost and serve a somewhat similar role to a "Limit Break"-type ability in other RPGs.

It's a turn-based RPG with some interesting mechanical twists you can change the attribute of your weapon at the start of your turn for free, spells always consume 1 MP, and then there's the Spirit Gauge. Skies of Arcadia (or Eternal Arcadia, depending on your region), is an RPG originally produced for the Dreamcast, which had an improved version (subtitled "Legends") released two years later for the GameCube, after the Dreamcast flopped and Sega ceased supporting it. Welp, I set precedent with the Crisis Core icon, so I guess I do icons for games you can only play as ROMs on PC.
